Lord Lansdowne died at [[Clonmel]], Ireland on 3 June 1927 at the age of 82.<ref name="dcb" /> His probate was sworn at {{GBP|1044613|1927|round=-5|about=yes|long=no}} in land with another £233,888 in other assets.<ref name="pr">https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk Calendar of Probates and Administrations</ref> The Marchioness died in 1932, and their tombs are in the churchyard at [[Derry Hill]], near their [[Bowood House|Bowood]] estate in Wiltshire.<ref>{{National Heritage List for England|num=1253593|desc=Christ Church|access-date=28 February 2022}}</ref>
