Gourab Banerji is a designated Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court of India. He was the former Additional Solicitor General of India between 2009 and 2014.[1] He is the younger son of Milon Kumar Banerji,[2] who was a former Attorney General of India, grandson of Birendra Narayan Chakraborty and a grand-nephew of Sachindranth Sanyal. His elder brother is also a senior Supreme Court Advocate Debal Banerji.
