The yard has delivered two of India's largest double-[[Hull (watercraft)|hull]] [[Aframax]] [[tanker (ship)|tanker]]s each of {{DWT|95,000}}.

CSL has secured shipbuilding orders from internationally renowned companies from Europe and the Middle East. Eight [[platform supply vessel]]s for the Norwegian Seatankers Management Company, are also under construction.{{citation needed|date=August 2013}}

Cochin Shipyard is currently building India's first indigenous aircraft carrier. {{INS|Vikrant|2013|6}}, (formerly, the Project 71 "Air Defence Ship") is the first aircraft carrier of the Indian Navy to be designed and built in India. The carrier will be the largest warship built by CSL.
